Hello and welcome to the InRetrospectGaming blog! On this website you will find coverage of games that are more then two years old! Many great classics are often played at the time of release only to be forgotten about when a new shiner game comes out. This sadly tend to buries old games to never ever be seen again. With backward compatibility’s future starting to be shaky due to the advent of cloud streaming it’s important now then ever to go back and look at old games worth experiencing. Our goal is to dig up these old games and look at them with the benefit of modern day hindsight.
If you’re willing to look at some dated visuals you can still find a lot of great things to play, and enjoy hours of wonderful gaming! Many great experiences fall into the dirt cheap category once they reach a couple years old so playing them can be quite economical. There has been many times in which I showed my friends a game they had never ever heard of and they loved it! I think that shining light on some of these old games could even revitalize the communities for them!
This website plans to cover a lot of different games across a lot of genres such as First Person Shooter, Strategy, Role-playing games, and even some platformers later in the future. I also own multiple consoles so when I can get footage of those systems I will update the website with console games.
